I'm at a loss for what else to try.Īny suggestions will be gratefully received, because I don't have the cash to buy a new printer. I have removed and re-installed the printer several times. In the Quality & Media panel, the display of the options of Print Quality has been changed from the radio button to the drop-down menu. I have tried wireless and with a USB cable. In the meantime Ill just switch the cable back and forth between the 2 computers. The next time I buy a printer Ill get a network printer. Nothing is printed and a few minutes later, the job disappears from the print queue. Guess the easiest thing to do is just move the USB cable from the desktop to the laptop. Installing all these drivers and updating everything helped Focal Fossa to recognize the printer, but right now, the printer is stuck at "Processing - Rendering completed". With Focal Fossa, I have already completed the following: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:michael-gruz/canon-trunkĪND sudo add-apt-repository ppa:thierry-f/fork-michael-gruzĪND sudo apt install scangearmp2 cnijfilter2ĪND sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sane-project/sane-release I recently migrated to Ubuntu 20.04 and my Canon Pixma TR7620 printer has stopped working (previous distro was Debian 11 too much for me, but at least the printer worked).
